Our Leadership
Rector - The Rev. Laura Osborne
The Reverend Laura Osborne
The Rev. Laura Osborne has served Church of the Good Samaritan and All Saints in the Mountains for 5 years. Working with these congregations, she has helped build a strong partnership that shares monthly worship, formation, outreach and fellowship while maintaining each church’s unique identity. Rev. Laura balances preaching and worship with teaching, pastoral care, and a vision for being the Episcopal Church in the Gunnison Valley - inside and outside our church doors. She has fostered strong ecumenical and interfaith partnerships with the Crested Butte and Gunnison Congregational Churches and with B’Nai Butte.
Laura has a unique calling to feed people. She serves as a volunteer and member of the Board of Directors of the Gunnison Country Food Pantry. Laura’s interests outside of church extend to cooking, walking/hiking, gardening, and reading. She has been known to fly fish, snowmobile, cross-country ski, downhill ski, snowshoe, skeet shoot, go-kart race, kayak, sail, and nap. She lives with Brian, her husband, and Beowulf, their Corgi. Laura and Brian have three adult children, Jack, Em, and Zach, in their early twenties.
Laura is excited to finally get to live in the mountains she has looked at all her life, as she serves All Saints in the Mountains in Crested Butte and The Episcopal Church of the Good Samaritan in Gunnison as their Partnership Rector. As she reminds us almost every Sunday, she is so grateful to worship in this beautiful place, among such faithful people.
