summer saunters
Each meditative, fellowship-building, and generally easy “saunter” – not hike – will start at 2 PM and last about 2 hours. There will be a prayer/poem/reflection at the beginning, the turn-around, and the completion of the saunter, ending with a quick snack. The dates are
June 29 – Woods Walk, Crested Butte
July 20 – Brush Creek, Crested Butte
August 17 – 10 Peak, Mt. Crested Butte
September 21 – Castle Creek, Ohio Creek Road
October 5 – Mill Creek Trail, Ohio Creek Road.
Book & Poetry Study
Wednesday evenings: July 16 & 30, August 13 & 27
We will share a potluck meal, fellowship, and discuss the following books: Is the River Alive? by Robert MacFarland and Go as a River by local author Shelley Read. Poetry from David Whyte’s River Flow: New and Selected Poems, as well as other poets, will accompany the books.

August 24 -- 8:30 AM for Breakfast & 10:00 AM worship
Lottis Creek Campground group site pavilion, top of Taylor Canyon. We will have a potluck taco dinner and campfire sing-along on August 23 at 5:00 PM. Around 10 AM on Saturday morning, there is usually an impromptu saunter up Lottis Creek into the Wilderness area
San Luis Stations of the CrosS
September 6 – 8:00 AM-7:00 PM
Join us as we travel to San Luis for Stations of the Cross, Eucharist, and a discussion of the sculptures with the artist, Huberto Maestes.
